First, everyone at Karen’s wishes you a Happy and Safe Memorial Day!!
We will be closed Monday, May 25th in honor of Memorial Day.
Make sure to read to the end because I have listed alot of information this time about the store hours and the summer schedule.
Summer Reading!!
This is also the heralding of the “summer reading list”, as soon as we can we will have the local schools’ list posted on our site. On a more fun topic, share your favorite beach book or relaxation book with us under the reviews. Part of enjoying a good read is being able to share it with others.
New Store Hours!!
I know you’re thinking not again, for those that know me you understand I’m always “tweaking” things. That is also one of the benefits of being a small business that you can make adjustments to continue to improve your business. That being said after five years (not so quick to adjust) I will be changing the evening hours. I will also adjust the morning hours, due to the fact that 6:00 AM is really early. So as of Monday, June 1st our store hours will be:
Monday-Wednesday 7 AM -6 PM
Thursday-Friday 7 AM- 9PM
Saturday 9 AM-6PM
Sunday Closed
I really appreciate everyone’s support and patience. On the same note I would like to hear your comments, I will not necessarily make them public so please feel free to give me honest feedback. Please let me know what you would like to see us do.
****Book Buying Notice****
We will not be buying books in June, if you would like to drop books off next week we will work on them the first week of June. With vacations and events we will be using the month to organize and evaluate what authors we need to be looking for, so if you drop them off just understand we will not get through them until the first of July.
Dates to mark your calendar, but more information to follow:
Thursday, June 4th: Girls Night Out, the theme is a Hawaiian Luau.
Saturday and Sunday, June 6th and 7th: Arts on the Green
Thursday, July 9th : Girls Night Out (Theme to be announced).
Well I think that is all for now have a wonderful weekend and we look forward to hearing from you.
