Daniela Crocco and Collin Jackson
Performing at “FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE” on APRIL 13TH !!
Daniela Crocco spent many days on Main Street as a little girl when her family owned Uncle Joe’s Italian Eatery on Walnut Street. Now 14, Daniela has developed a passion for Music and Performing.
She is a member of the Oldham County Youth Theater and Senior member of the Oldham County Performance Troupe. She received Music Achievement Awards both at an elementary and middle school level, Placed 2nd in the Vocal Category at Talent on Parade in 2010, and has placed in several other local Talent Competitions. She made the semi-finals at the Coca-Cola Talent Classic 2010, and is in the Semi Finals for the 2012 Coca Cola Talent Competition that will take place in August at the State Fair. She attended KMEA all-state choir in 2009-2010 and in 2010 was the only female who made all-state choir in her school. She has performed in several Musicals Productions for both the Oldham County Arts Center and Emerging Artist Studio.
Daniela was selected to be part of a group of youth theatre members to attend the iTheatrics Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta in January 2012. Here, she won the Star Spangled Banner Contest to sing at the opening ceremony. Also, she was awarded an All-Star and Outstanding Female Performer.
Daniela hopes to continue her education in the performing arts to become a professional vocalist and perform on Broadway.
Collin Jackson has been performing in public since the age of ten. He began his theatrical career in Derby Dinner Playhouse’s production of The Wizard of Oz. Now sixteen, he has competed in several competitions, including the Coca Cola Talent Classic at the Kentucky State Fair, where he has placed in the top five of around four hundred acts. He has also been in many different productions playing several different roles, including Aladdin in Aladdin, Charlie in Willie Wonka, and many others.
He attended the iTheatrics Junior Theatre festival and was selected to be an all-star. This summer, he will be playing Link in a production of Hairspray. He is a member of the Oldham County Performance Troupe, and plans on continuing his involvement as a vocalist and in the performing arts as long as he can.
Daniela and Collin were both selected to be involved in the iTheatrics production of Our House in New York City this summer. Currently, they are making preparations for this exciting experience, both financially and performance-wise. They enjoy performing together often, and are overjoyed to be traveling to New York together.
